Every project starts with what is really there. Our surveyors and GIS staff map property lines, grades, utilities and shoreline, so the design is drawn on fact. This is Robert C. Valade Park on the Detroit riverfront, one of our civil projects.

Our civil engineers and landscape architects draw the streets, utilities, stormwater and public space over that survey, then carry the plans through zoning, permits and US Army Corps of Engineers approvals.

While it gets built, our inspectors stay on site. Our own drill rigs and our AASHTO and USACE accredited lab test the soil, concrete and asphalt that go into it, so the finished site matches the plan.
